WHEREAS, Wyoming is not the “Gold Standard” of election processes and, as such, be open to election improvements,
WHEREAS, every legal individual’s vote should be counted,
WHEREAS, elections are for the people, and this should be reflected by having full transparency in every election,
WHEREAS, the people should have confidence in their local and statewide election process,
WHEREAS, fully 45% of Wyoming college/university students are out-of-state
students, rendering their Wyoming “residence” questionable, at least, for purposes of voting in our Wyoming elections,
WHEREAS, candidates on every level are entitled to a fairly run election process.
Now, therefore; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the election must take place only on the date set forth in the Constitution; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all voters must show a valid, physical, photo
identification (excluding student IDs and tribal IDs) with proof of US Citizenship
except absentee voters; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that unsolicited mail-in ballots must be abolished
unless they are military ballots; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Wyoming Republican Party calls for the repeal of HB52 which allowed for mail-in ballots to be opened prior to election day and be replaced with legislation which requires ballots to be opened only on election day; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that any election using electronic means must be
subject to full forensic analysis and substantiated by paper ballots; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all county voter rolls must be considered the
primary validating source and must be cleaned and updated within 90 days of the election; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, to never have automatic voter registration; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, to return to paper ballots for in-person voting; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, to abolish mail-in ballot drop boxes; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all tabulation machines and electronic voting
machines must be contained in Faraday Cages (enclosures used to block
electromagnetic fields to prevent tampering); and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all tabulation machine and electronic voting
machine firmware and software be open sourced and not proprietary.
