Defund CPB (Corporation for Public Broadcasting)

WHEREAS, the CBP supports the operations of nearly 1500 locally owned and

operated public television and radio station; and

WHEREAS, CBP (which is private nonprofit corporation that is fully funded by the

federal government) has broken its promise to provide trusted news; and

WHEREAS, CPB has become politically biased instead of being the firewall against political influenced it once claimed to be.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Wyoming State Republican Party calls on Wyoming to end funding for public broadcasting (Wyoming PBS, through Central Wyoming Collage).

BE IT RESOLVED that the Wyoming State Republican Party calls on the federal

government to end funding for public broadcasting (CPB).
